Acupuncture can reverse stress-induced memory problems

We've all heard how stress can be bad for our health.   Did you also know that it can be bad for our memory? To be specific, stress (as measured by elevated cortisol levels) during learning has been shown to be helpful but it can severely inhibit recall based on a study shown HERE.   The important factor was the CHANGE in cortisol levels during the stress when trying to remember something. This could have grave implications for test taking and other memory-intensive tasks.  The good news is that studies suggest that acupuncture at the point "Pericardium 6" can help improve stress-induced memory problems as described in this study.
